Wooden
venetian blinds are usually made of bass wood or Ramin which
is very light. They are manufactured with a dry-killed process to
prevent bending, and are available either stained or in six shades
from light to dark. The blinds can be left in their original
natural wood colour. Although wooden blinds are expensive, they
give a soft mellow light to the room.
