Basically, heading is the gathering or pleating at the top of curtains. Pinch pinch
pleats and pencil pleats are the most popular headings. Pinch pleats are small Clusters of
pleats grouped at regular intervals; they suit fairly heavy , floor-to-ceiling curtains.
Pencil pleats are tighter and run continuously across the curtain, and work well with
lightweight net and sheer fabrics. Most curtains are designed to be drawn back and forth
and for these, choose a sturdy
track or pole. Pole provides very decorative way to hang
curtains.
